Storefront

Your storefront is assembled from sections — blocks you add, order and configure. There is no templating language to learn and no theme to edit, which is a deliberate trade: you give up arbitrary layout and you get pages that cannot be broken.

Sections

Add sections to your home page and arrange them with move-up and move-down controls. Buttons rather than a drag surface, deliberately: a button works on a phone and with a keyboard, and it saves the order you can see rather than a guess about where something landed.

The library is:

SectionWhat it shows
HeroA headline, an image and a button
Featured collectionOne collection's products

Each has its own settings, and each is validated when you save it — a section with a required field left empty tells you so on the form rather than rendering as a gap on a live page.

Nothing reaches a customer until you publish. Work on the page as long as you like; the storefront keeps showing what you last published.

Templates and fonts

A template sets the overall look: classic, editorial or minimal. It changes spacing, proportion and emphasis rather than colour — your colours and logo come from your branding settings and travel across templates unchanged.

A font pairing sets the type: modern, editorial, classic, friendly or utility. Two fonts, chosen to work together, rather than a list of every font on the internet and the results that follow from one.

Your header and footer navigation is yours to edit — the entries, their order, and where each points. An entry can link to a collection, a page, a product or an address you type.

Pages

About, Shipping, Returns, Contact — the pages every shop needs — are written the same way as the home page, out of the same sections. A page has a web address you choose.

If you change a page's or a product's address later, the redirect from the old one is created for you. Links you have already given out, printed, or had indexed keep working. See Reports & settings → Redirects.

Your own domain

A shop is reachable at yourdomain.com/your-shop-slug from the moment it is published, and you can point your own domain at it instead. See Settings.

Where to find it

Reports & settings → Storefront for sections, template and fonts; Pages for your written pages; Menus for the header and footer.
