Receipt Printer

Prints a full order summary including:

  • All line items with prices
  • Subtotal, discount, shipping
  • Tax line
  • Total
  • ABN / Tax ID

Formatted for thermal receipt paper (58mm or 80mm width).

Label Printer

Prints the paperwork that travels with an order:

  • Packing slip — the contents of the parcel, with no prices on it
  • Shipping label — delivery address and carrier barcode
  • Batch pick list — every open order's items aggregated by SKU, for picking a run of orders in one pass off the shelf

When Print Jobs Are Created

Print jobs are automatically created when:

  • An online order is paid.
  • A sale is rung up on the in-store POS.
  • An order is marked for fulfilment, which raises its packing slip and label.

Jobs are created server-side from your printer configuration. A shop with a single printer at the counter gets everything there — nothing is lost, it just all comes out in one place.

Managing Print Jobs

  • View print jobs per order in the order details.
  • Re-print — Trigger a reprint for any print job.
  • View print job status (pending, printed, failed).

Printing goes through the UniShopping Console — the desktop app for Windows, macOS and Linux, or the iPad app. Each runs a small local print server that talks to your network thermal printers directly, so jobs reach the printer without a cable to the machine running the dashboard.
